wow, that realy honorable..nearest 100 cases for a year, but, as I said before what about the number disposed of without a trace? It also does not take into account the number of abortions in private clinics.so we must find how to solve this problem..

right zura, we must find how to solve this problem. But, i think goverment must take seriously about this issue and find way how to solve this problem. For example, goverment must give motivation for teenagers about sex education.

yup emma..government is the best role to solve this issues but in my opinion, that issue cant solve if only government play that role, so everybody must play their role to solve this problem.

i aggree with you zura, because i think all people must stand together to solve this problem such as police, parents, society, and all kind of that.

Sorry Zura..I late answer questions u. Statistic I achieve that of Johor. My opinion, very hard to seek out statistic overall because this case regularly occurred until certain parties could not make statistic by overall. hope you understand..

Zura and Syira. I have found the new statistic in Masyarakat Welfare Department Malaysia. Refer to report baby dumping statistic between year 2000 till 2006 which reports as much as 580 babies had been discarded, majority (532 - 92%) is newborn, while 48 (8%) is foetus. In Kependudukan Kebangsaan Conference 2007, reported according to a study in the Klang Valley, a baby thrown away each ten day. What more disquieting, phenomenon this will no longer only occurred in big towns , even increasingly often reported in rural area urban and rural. Babies also have been reported before dumps in ivory tower school toilet and premise institutions of higher learning.

owh really emma? how about statictic recently?and that's case involved a malay only or involved another race? because, from what i know, a lot baby was dumped are malay.

Good question Zura..In my opinion, very hard sense to seek out the newest statistic because this case often happening until certain parties could not make statistic specifically and could only make in general. About baby was dumped are malay, ermmm I admit many cases this involved youth Malay but we cannot blame to just one authority. Besided that, we need to see from various perspective.

Yeah,as i said in causes of this problem,we must look at the other perspective such as their tradition allowed to married after pregnant and pregnant without married is not "taboo" in their society. so if they pregnant without married it's not a big problem and can gave birth their baby without feel guilty. That's different in malay traditions and Islam religion not allowed pregnant without married but that's not mean they must solve this problem by throw their babies. So maybe that perspective causes recently cases among in malay (in Malaysia). (sorry if other religion also not allowed to pregnant without married, because i just look in Islam and malay perspective)
